EAP773 LAN crashed every 2-3 days.
EAP773 LAN crashed every 2-3 days.

I bought EAP773 last week and used with Zyxel PoE++ injector. After 2-3 days, it was crashed. Wi-Fi devices can connect, but they can't access LAN and can't access config pages. I must turn off and on EAP773, it's working again. After 2-3 days, it was crashed again. I sadly to bought EAP773.

Hi @MacZilla
Thanks for the explanation.
So, it's an Internet issue, not a LAN crash. When we refer to a LAN network, it doesn't involve an Internet connection.
If possible, please change the Ethernet cable of the EAP and see if it helps.
It's also possible that it was caused by a defect in the EAP. You may also contact your retailer to check the warranty. Thank you.

Hi @MacZilla
Thanks for posting here.
Do you plug the EAP773 into your main router? Or via a switch? Please give us the router and switch info.
Next time when the issue occurs, please kindly select the following info:
1. The Internet access still works? Only LAN communication are affected, is this correct?
2. If you ping the EAP's IP address, will it reply?
3. Are all LAN clients are unreachable?
4. What kind of LAN clients/service are you using?
If you don't mind, next time, after obtaining the above information, please factory reset the EAP and reconfigure it to see if it helps.

- via Zyxel L2 XS1930 switch.

- Internet working perfectly. All other LAN devices working.
2. If you ping the EAP's IP address, will it reply?
- can't ping EAP773 IP. device can't respond. I must Power off > on again.
3. Are all LAN clients are unreachable?
- All other LAN devices working perfectly, but Wi-Fi devices connected EAP773 lose.
4. What kind of LAN clients/service are you using?
- I connected EAP773 with Zyxel PoE++ (bt) Injector. I had Engenius ECW536 and Zyxel NWA130BE, all devices working perfect. When I change to EAP773, It was failure.
After I reset and reconfig EAP773. Today, EAP773 didn't only LAN not respond. Wi-Fi on EAP773 not respond too. I'm angry EAP773. I bought only 1 week. I think it's DOA.

>>>I was not clear. You mentioned that the EAP LAN crashed, and the Internet was always working.
So I was wondering, apart from access the EAP's interface, what kind of other LAN service are you using? For example, printing? accessing a local server? or what else? Please list some examples.

Hi @MacZilla
What exactly do you mean by "LAN network"? I apologize for not fully understanding your question.
Alternatively, could you describe what you were attempting to do when you noticed the LAN network wasn't working?
Please mentioned the wireless clients, how the clients are connected to the network the involved Internet activities.
LAN Network Example:
clients: iphone18, TV, they are both connecting to the EAP's wifi;
Internet activity: When attempting to cast video content from the phone to the TV display, the phone failed to find the TV.
