Omada Controller v6 – Missing Information and Already Compatible Firmware?

Hi everyone,
I've noticed that both the OC200 and OC300 controllers are showing repeated messages indicating that some features will be removed or changed starting with Omada Controller v6.
At the same time, I’ve seen that some beta and early access firmware versions for APs (EAP6**) and switches are already marked as tested with or prepared for Omada v6.
However, I haven’t seen anything of Omada Controller v6 itself yet — not even a beta or early access version.
This raises a few questions for me:
- When can we realistically expect the release of Omada Controller v6?
- Is there a roadmap or any official information about the planned changes or new features in v6?
- And most importantly: Why are there already device firmwares available for a controller version that hasn’t even been released yet?
It's a bit confusing when the devices seem to be one step ahead, while the central software platform isn't available yet.
Maybe someone here has more insight or TP-Link can comment on this.
Best regards,
Tim

@Vincent-TP If you don't mind me asking, would there be change in the user interface as shown in the promotional images and youtube videos?

I know what your answer will probably be, but...
At this point i would image v6 is well underway - internal testing, features, specs etc etc.
Can we at least get some kind of overview of what the new features will be?
Surely its better to guage feedback on any major changes from experienced users before effort is put in to finalize code especially if we all start crying out "this seems dumb" or "why dont you do this instead" etc etc ?

Hi @GRL
I understand your feelings. Version 6 is already completed. I'm also curious about what new features were added and have asked about them before.
However, explaining this would be quite complicated, and I don't want to create additional work for the R&D team - let's allow them to focus on development.
