Hi, I use Mesh system Deco and cannot get good speed for my devices.

 

From WiFi router I get speed around 200 mbps (Router Huawei, Biznet (Indonesia), 200mbps)

 

but from any Deco x50 WiFi speed 55mbps maximum,

from any Deco x10 WiFi speed 12mbps maximum.

 

Often speed like this:

Router Huawei / 5Ghz speed 190-200

Deco x50 / 5Ghz speed 20-55

Deco x10 / 5Ghz speed 3-12

 

How can I get the normal speed from Deco for Samsung devices?

M54, A33, A53, A72

 

Note, for other phone's brands the speed from any Deco always good, 200mbps (Realme, Xiaomi, Oppo, for example)

Did you also set Deco into "Access Point" mode under Deco APP>More>Advanced>Operation Mode?

 

Have you also checked the used 5GHz channel of the Deco? (You can check it via "Network Optimization" under Deco APP>More)

I used to see Samsung mobile phones prefer to use band 4(channel 149-161) to get higher bandwidth. I wonder if Deco is working on band 1(channel 36-48) now.

 

By the way, did you purchase all 6*Deco X50s from the local market?

Can I have some pictures of the network map on the Deco APP, such as:

How about the wrieless link speed on the Samsung mobile devices when they are connected to the main Deco? Is it normal?

How to check the associated/link speed on a wireless client

 

Have you checked the 5GHz WiFi channel on the Huawei router? Is it 149?

You should be able to find the used 5GHz channel of Deco under Deco APP>More>Network Optimization.

2. Speed on the remote device Hallway, wireless connection, two walls from Terrace bedroom (2nd floor)

Speed on the device Living room (1st floor) and RoofTop (3rd floor) is same with Terrace bedroom, all wired, all 6 devices is x50

 

5GHz WiFi channel on the Huawei router is 161 but for channel 149 speed is same. 

 

All cables full-duplex 1000 Mbps, 6 cat, checked via router.

I swapped devices several times.

I disabled access for all other users.

I disabled WLan on the provider's router. 

 

I even reset the settings on the phones to factory defaults. 

 

I connected Deco x10 without x50 and disconnected it completely. I temporarily moved it to a separate network outside the house.

Deco x10 were sent during the initial purchase by mistake instead of x50, the seller refused to exchange the product. With a speed of 3-12 Mbps, x10 now look like style junk, but can be used for uninvited guests with Samsung phones. 

 

A technical representative of the provider came, did not find any errors in the settings and recommended change Brand.
