Last week I changed my home Internet connection and I need to reset my L900 strips to connect them to the new network.

When I perform the setup and I get to the step when I am asked to connect to the L900's own network (Tapo_Light_Strip_****), I am asked to insert a password to connect. I didn't remember being asked any when I installed it the first time and I don't know what to insert.

Stuff like 00000000, 11111111 or 12345678 won't work.

Any help?

Check it with another phone or tablet. Ensure the light strip has been reset correctly. How to Reset Tapo Light Strip

 

Change a different controller if you have one. If the issue persists, then i'm afraid you will need a replacement. To proceed the product warranty, please contact the retailer or local TP-Link support
