Smart Events not showing up in playback

Hello,
I have one Vigi camera (C540V) and a Vigi NVR (1016H).
I have enabled human detection, but during playback (in the Vigi mobile app and on the NVR web page) all events, no matter whether they are human or not, are shown as motion detection. Even when I disable motion detection events and only leave human detection enabled, playback still shows them as motion detection.
I noticed that push notifications for person detection work fine, so the camera does detect humans, but it does not save the recording as a human detection event. I tried resetting the camera settings and configuring it again via the NVR web page, but this did not work. I also tried other smart events, but during playback they are not shown either.
The camera and NVR firmware are up to date. What can I do to filter playback by smart events?
This seems to be the same problem as described here: https://community.tp-link.com/en/business/forum/topic/708142
Since that thread is closed, I’m starting a new one.

Vigi nvr 1016H:
- hardware version: VIGI NVR1016H(UN) 1.20
- firmware version: 1.4.0 Build 250710 Rel.71260n
Camera Vigi C540V:
- hardware version: VIGI C540V 1.0
- firmware version: 2.1.0 Build 250702 Rel.54300n
I am linking a video (I have blurred it, but it shows two people walking on the road) and a screenshot showing that it is only possible to filter by motion detection. I don’t understand why all events are classified as motion detection only.

Based on the reply from the team, if you have added the IPC to the NVR, then there will be only one type left which is the motion detection.
Others will be classified as motion detection as well.
This is expected behavior and design.

1. Make sure your firmware is up-to-date.
2. The VIGI app should be upgraded to the latest version.
3. Log out and log back in your TP-Link ID and check again.

I have the camera and NVR firmware up to date.
I am using the latest version of the Vigi mobile app and, on my computer, the latest version of Vigi Security Manager.
I tried logging out and then logging back in, but that didn’t work. I also tried unlinking my TP-Link ID from the NVR and connecting it again, but that didn’t work either.

Versions of the products you are using.
If you can post a video of the behavior, that would be great.

Oh, this is an unpleasant surprise for me. Does this behavior exist in every VIGI NVR model? I am wondering because in the specification of the VIGI NVR1016H it is written that playback has the following options:
• Instant Playback
• Regular Playback
• Tag Playback
• Event Playback
It looks like the VIGI NVR does not fully support VIGI cameras.
Is there a plan to fix this with a future software update?

I don't think these playback options would refer to the different detections you mentioned.
These are called Smart Events from the app or Events, which is what we see in the settings. The NVR supports the VIGI cameras but when the NVR controls the cameras, the NVR preset would take priority than the standalone mode.
When you use the camera individually, the display logic would be the camera first. But when it is controlled by the NVR, the logical comes from the NVR.

So, do the options "Tag Playback" and "Event Playback" refer to the same thing, which is "only motion detection"?
Even when the camera is controlled by the NVR, on the NVR web page in the Information tab under Event Information, you can see the most recent event trigger (such as human detection, vehicle detection, etc.), so I believe it should be possible for the NVR to tag the video properly.
