I know it's an old piece of kit, but my TL-PA211 adapter was working perfectly until this morning, when it suddenly showed no lights at all or other signs of life. I've tried it in other sockets, but to no avail.

I guess it's probably died of old age and needs replacing, but just thought I'd ask before junking it in case it might be possible to bring it back to life with a software update or some other trickery?

Thanks

Hello@Steviedi ,

Welcome to our community.

Please try a different wall socket.

Can you still log in to the management page of the TL-PA211?  You can try to reset the powerline adapters: TL-PA211_TL-PA211KIT_User Manual (from page 15)

If it doesn't work, I think you can consider a new device.

Hi Joseph, Thanks for your advice. Unfortunately the device doesn't seem to light up whichever wall socket I plug it into, and I'm not easily able to install the management utility as I don't have a computer which can read a CD-Rom. My strong suspicion is that it's died anyway, so I think I'll just procure a replacement. Thanks again.

Hi@Steviedi ,

Thanks for your troubleshooting attempts. It seems you may need a new Powerline adapter to replace the TL-PA211.

Best Regards.
