UI Bug: Omada Controller menu items are hidden on displays with 150% Windows Scaling
Hi al,
I am reporting a responsive design bug in the Omada Cloud Controller web UI where critical menu items are hidden when using standard Windows display scaling.
The issue occurs even when the browser zoom is at the default 100%, and persists in Incognito mode, which rules out browser extensions as a possible cause.
My System Environment:
- Controller: Omada Cloud Controller
- Operating System: Windows 11 Version 24H2 (OS Build 26100.6584)
- Display Setup: Single notebook display
- Display Resolution:
1920 x 1080 - Windows Display Scaling:
150%(This seems to be the main cause) - Browser:
Google Chrome Version 141.0.7390.54 - Browser Zoom:
100%(Default)
Steps to Reproduce:
-
On a Windows 11 PC, set the display resolution to
1920 x 1080and the display scaling to150%. -
Open Google Chrome and ensure the page zoom is set to the default
100%by pressingCtrl + 0. -
Log in to the Omada Cloud Controller and navigate to a specific Site.
-
Go to the Settings menu.
Actual Result: The Settings menu is incomplete. Critical options like "VPN", "Firewall", and others under the "Network Security" and "Transmission" categories are completely hidden and inaccessible.
Expected Result: The full "Settings" menu should be visible and accessible, regardless of the OS-level display scaling.
Workaround: The missing menu items only become visible if I manually zoom out in the browser to a lower value, such as 90% or 80%.
This appears to be a CSS breakpoint issue that doesn't correctly account for OS-level display scaling, making the interface difficult to use for anyone requiring scaling for accessibility.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
