Hooray!  Temperature reported to controller is now back to what it was pre 1.3.0 (which is correct, all FW post 1.2.3 were 7-8c higher than what it should have been)

So far, so good.

Also, the ER605v2 2.3.1 beta release thread doesnt have download link and the first post content seems a mish-mash of copy/paste from prior versions - just a heads up

That was a draft still being edited; I’ve since deleted the post. It will be republished once it’s updated.

  @Ethan-TP

I cannot upgrade from this beta to the official 1.3.3 from the support site which is a later build

From the 1.3.3 official changelog

Important Notice: It is recommended to upgrade to version 1.3.4 afterwards to use a more secure signature algorithm.

1.3.4 Is not posted, i Assume this is the same as the 2.2.2 > 2.2.3 Pre-RED to RED updated for the ER7206 v2 back in Augues

  @Ethan-TP

I had to do a SSH roll-back and then a re-upgrade in the end.  On 1.3.3 beta the gateway would not accept any firmware file other then the beta posted here

Re:ER8411 V1 1.3.3 Build 20250930 Pre-Release Firmware (Released on 11th October, 2025)
Yesterday

I've been trying to upgrade to the release candidate, but it keeps failing with the error below.

This model in the selected site has already specified a firmware version.

I've attempted to rollback and upgrade, but it is not working. Any help would be much appreciated.

I had the same problem on a different router model. You need to back up the configuration and re-upload the firmware through safe mode, but this time using the official firmware. Turn off the power, press the reset button for 10 seconds, release it for another 10 seconds, and repeat this three times. Then disconnect all ports and connect a computer to one of the ports with the network card set to 192.168.0.20 255.255.255.0. Press the reset button. Turn on the power while holding the reset button. After a few seconds, the LED on the connected port will start flashing. Release the reset button. Go to 192.168.0.10 through your computer and upload the official version.

  @djwujek

Yes, we are aware of the issue. The trial firmware released in October for the ER8411 and ER7412-M2 does have a firmware-lock problem. We have already reported this to the relevant team.If you encounter this issue, please consider rolling back the firmware via SSH or uploading it through recovery mode.

  @Ethan-TP Thank you for sharing it.

I've performed the SSH rollback and attempted to upgrade, but I received the same error. I finally upgraded the firmware to 1.3.6 with the Emergency mode. I'm unsure if I'll be able to upgrade normally in the future or if I'll need to use Emergency mode moving forward.
