If your son's device is still able to access the internet even after the time limits you've set in the Tether app have been reached.There are a few possible reasons why this might be happening:

1.    Incorrect Time Settings: Double-check that the maximum online time is set correctly for your child's profile in the app.
2.    Check Remaining Online Time: Please verify in the parental control profile that the daily internet time has actually been used up.    Sometimes, there can be a mismatch between the app's display and actual usage.
3.    Preloaded or Cached Data: Some applications may preload or cache data in advance.    This means that even after the time limit is reached, the device might still be able to use preloaded content for a while.Try closing and reopening the application to see if the connection is truly blocked.
4.    Randomized MAC Address: Parental controls identify devices based on their MAC address.If your son's device has enabled the 'random MAC address' feature (common in newer phones and tablets), the MAC address may change, causing the parental control to lose track of the device and fail to enforce restrictions. Please ensure that the device is using a fixed MAC address when connecting to your Wi-Fi Router.
