without IP
How can a client connect to the system without being assigned an IP address?

How does data transfer work in this case?

Thank you for the link.
Unfortunately, I still can't find the ARP option.

If you go to settings and LAN, edit one of the networks, go to advanced settings, it is not there, then your router is not compatible with the new setting.

If you don't have ARP Detection, your router probably doesn't support it yet. Maybe someone from omadanetworks can answer that?

Hi @VolkerS
Thanks for posting here.
ER7412-M2 does support ARP detection. Did you configure it at the same site as ER7412-M2?
This option is only avaliable when there is a gateway adopted.
Please try the following and see if it will show up:
1. Clear the cache of the web browser you are using;
2. Try broswer's private mode;
If still the same, please let us know.

Hello, thank you for the tips.
I couldn't find ARP because it's located in a different place.

However, I do have a 22-bit network.

I would like to return to my suggestion of replacing the router and the EAP.
It is understandable that a device without an IP address cannot function correctly.
If assigning an IP address takes more than 7 minutes, or if the IP address is lost within that time, a system can only be unstable.
It cannot be the customer's responsibility to solve this problem, and not just this one.
Although the update now provides the ARP function, the problem has obviously not improved.

Hi @VolkerS
Thanks for the reply.

>>>Does that mean, the IP addresses won't show up even you enabled the ARP Detection?
We would like to know more details about the situation:
1. Do the involved clients have internet access?
2. What kind of clients are affected? How did they connected to the system? directly to the switch? Or via some unmanaged switches?
3. Around how many clients not showing IP address?
4. When did you first notice this situation?
5. What's the type of controller(hardware or software) you are using and its firmware version?
