2 sets of powerlines at different ac currents connect with Ethernet?
Hi all in the community,
I want help with 2 sets of plcs.
We have 2 different fotovoltaic systems autonomous at two houses that are near each other. So they have completely different currents. If we connect one set (2) of powelines to extend the lan in each house, is it possible to connect the two houses with an Ethernet cable on the powerlines? Through the Ethernet cable do we have any "mix" of the ac current from the powerline?

May I know your complete network topology diagram? For example:
ISP modem—TL-MR6400 in 1st house —powerline in 2nd house )))((( client devices
(Note: — stands for wired connection,)))((( stands for wireless connection )
If this is the case, network expansion should be possible.
However, if you want to achieve: ISP modem—TL-MR6400 in 1st house — powerline in 1st house — powerline in 2nd house
The powerline network of the first house can theoretically serve as the powerline network of the second house, but the stability of a powerline adapter as a signal source is not as good as that of a router.

Welcome to our community.
Powerline adapters will work within each house to extend the LAN, but they cannot bridge the network between two houses with separate electrical systems. Ethernet cables connected to Powerline adapters or switches are safe and only transmit network data, not AC power.

Thank you for your information, but i wonder (because i've done no experiment yet) why is not possible to transfer data with the ethernet cable between the houses?
The modem-router at the Host-house will send data at every place there with the set of PLCs. the receiver adapter of this plc set isn't able to sent them to the other plc set at the Receiver-house with the ethernet cable?
Excuse me if i understant something wrong.
P.S. I already use a 4G LTE modem-router TL-MR6400v5.3 at the "Host-house"
