Cannot adopt a new EAP225 onto an existing Network
I have a network with five EAP225s that I set up a few years back. Hardware version 3.0 for the old ones, 2.5.0 Build 20190404 Rel. 57144.
That all works fine and was easy to set up back in 2019 or so.
I just bought new pair of EAP225s and although I can connect to them via a browser, they simply refuse to to be adopted by the OC200. Either via my Android app or bringing up te OC200's web page.
I've tried this:
https://community.tp-link.com/en/business/forum/topic/168100
And the link it points to and loads of others. I just keep getting "Failed to Send Adoppt Command to AP".
If I retry I have to enter the username and password (which I set vuia the EAP's web page) and then it tells me the same thing.
I can ping, obviously, the EAP and Ias I say I can connect to it just putting its IP address into a browser. The OC200 app on my phone and the web interface *sees* it but flatly refuses to connect.
They are all on 192.168.5.xxx OC200 firmware is up to date.
What is going on here please?

@Vincent-TP I think it's 1.32.6 Build 20241101 Rel.41525
It's not obvious to me if that's definitely the software version.

Hi @DiBosco
Yes, it's the firmware version, but from 2024.
Please update the firmware to the latest and see if it helps:
