Hello everyone,

I'd like to share a few comments on my experience with the BE25, which I've been using for a few months.
Previously, I had an E4 and later added an X20 as my main Deco. I was very pleased with both and the X20 was a great upgrade, so when I moved, I bought a BE25 expecting to get the same experience, but improved, since it's a newer and more expensive model with more features.
But to be honest, I ended up being disappointed.

One of the features I was looking forward to trying was the VPN.
I haven't used the VPN Server much, but it worked fine.
On the other hand, I had a few issues with the VPN Client. I didn't find it easy to set up (the login process wasn't smooth), and when I finally managed to do it, I needed to create a separate configuration for each VPN location (even if they were from the same provider), which ended up being quite annoying and discouraged me from using this feature more often.

Another issue I had was with the Firewall/QoS/Security settings.

I think this was the biggest downside of the upgrade. I realized that many of the features I liked in my old X20 Deco were missing. Instead, I had to pay subscription fees to activate them (not one, but two!) and even after using the free trial, I didn't find the options and reports to be as feature rich as they were on my old Deco.

Now I'm wondering if the upgrade was worth it. Don't get me wrong, the Decos look great and work flawlessly, but if I do the math, I could have bought an older, cheaper model and actually gotten more features, other than Wi-Fi 7, and save a few bucks.

I hope someone reads this and can do something about it, because I still think this is a great product that I've loved and recommended for years. Sadly, though, I'm now considering switching to a different setup in the future.
