X60 wired mesh issue

Hi all, thank you in advance for your help. Firstly I didn't know where to find the HW version on my X60 units so I didn't answer that. It's not on the device information page where I found the firmware version.
I would like to collect my three x60 devices in a wired mesh. Previously to this I had a Google Wi-Fi system. It was working but I wanted to change to something different to improve the coverage. I have a modem in the attic. I have it configured to pass through and it connects to the main x60 unit in the bedroom which feeds a main switch back in the attic vitla ethernet over cat 6 cabling. I have changed the patch leads.
I had difficulty in copying the Google setup so I had some success with the following topology. The main x60 is fed from the modem. The main x60 then feeds a main switch. This main switch feeds two satellite switches beneath them in the office and living room. Each of these satellite switches has a satellite x60 connected to it. Just like any other regular device would be connected to the switch.
Previous to this I had set it up as follows. Modem to main x60 to main switch. The main switch was connected to a satellite x60 which then fed the satellite switches. In my current set up all wired devices connect to the main X60.
The set up in the app is showing the links from the modem to the x60 and the satellite x60s as cabled. It looks ok but it's acting strangely and intermittently. Can someone help please, thank you.

Hi, thank you very much for your feedback.
The hardware version should be V4.0/V4.6, which you can find on the bottom device label.
Can I have the firmware version of the 8-port network switches?
Would you mind adding more details/observations about the issues you're having with the Ethernet Backhaul on the Deco?
"It looks ok but it's acting strangely and intermittently."
How long have you had the Deco X60 units?
By the way, how about the model number of the ISP modem/gateway?
-Have you ever tried setting the ISP gateway as the DHCP server, then changing Deco X60 into Access Point mode?
Wait for your reply.
Best regards.

@David-TP hi thank you for your response. I can get that information but can you please offer an opinion on the best topology from the two I've shown please, that all I'm really looking at at the moment.
I have the units about 6 months but only put them in last week.
The issues are dropping connection and favouring a WiFi link between the X60 over a wired ones.
I'm not near units at the moment, the switches are just Netgear pro dumb switches nothing fancy.
But in the interim can you offer an opinion on the best topology please, should the X60s feed the satellite switches in and out to the switch or should they be fed from the switches
Thank you again for your response
