Multi Site Notifications
We have currently 4 sites with ViGi cameras. I tried to setup a user for a specific site, which worked for viewing only those cameras on the specific site. However, that user is receiving notifications from all 4 sites.
Yes when setting up the user, the specific site was selected.
VMS automatically creates an Alert named “Default” (indicated by the arrow below) that includes every newly-added user (red box below). As a result, those users receive notifications from all four sites. Please review and adjust the settings of the Default Alert. In a future release we will improve this behavior so that users without site permissions will not receive any push notifications, even if they are listed in an Alert.
