Hi I am having a problem with the powerline adapers in my attic. I have a good connection to the router but no internet, I have tried several adapters and the result is the same on them all. All adapers work perfectly on the ground and first floor with perfect internet, The wiring of the house all originate in the same fuse board, different floors fed from separate circuit breakers which is common in most homes, I have tried everything except upgrading the firmware. (V!) They used to work fine as I have my CCTV in the attic but now cannot communicate with it as there is no internet available, can you help me please Brian

Hello @cardiffian1 ,

Welcome to our community.

May I know what the model number of your device is? Please refer to

How to find the model number of your TP-Link device

How to find the hardware version on a TP-Link device

If you have tested multiple adapters and comparisons in various locations in the attic, and only a specific location causes the adapters to malfunction, there is likely electrical isolation at that location.

Best Regards.
