Model: OC200
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version: 5.15

Bonjour,

Hello,

After updating from version 5.15 to 6.xx, some of my OC200 controllers are now offline, even though my internet connection is still working. It's very problematic not being able to access these devices when the whole point of controllers is to allow remote access.

Does technical support have any idea why this is happening? I don't want to update the controllers anymore, and some are still on version 5.xx, so I have two different interfaces to manage...

Hi  @JeanMichelRendu

Thanks for the reply.

Is the offline issue after an update a known problem?

>>>Nope.

As you mentioned, only some controllers went offline, and cloud access is often closely related to the ISP, I suggest you check if there are any commonalities in the ISPs for these sites.

I understand it may be inconvenient for you to investigate locally, but with the current information, it is indeed difficult to pinpoint the exact cause of the issue.

You might also want to consider factors such as firewalls, anti-virus softwares, ACL rules, etc..

Hi  @JeanMichelRendu

Is local access functioning normally?

What is the status of the cloud LED?

Are you referring to the situation where some controllers went offline after the upgrade while others remained online?

Please check if there are any commonalities in the Internet service providers of these offline sites.

Here are all the domains of Omada Cloud services and their uses, you can add domains to the firewall whitelist as needed.

  @JeanMichelRendu

I'm not at the clients' premises, and it's awkward to ask them if the lights are on (it doesn't seem very professional; some don't even know where to look). And since they're partly houses and apartments, I can't ask to go there and spend time traveling to see if we can connect locally.

Is the offline issue after an update a known problem? I haven't seen any notes about it; do you have a link?

As for the internet service providers, I need to check if they all have the same one.
