Hi,

Can you help me out how to solve this problem, ive face this before and i forgot how to implement it properly.

Ive downgraded my omada oc200 controller from the latest firmware to 5.7. The reason is the eap110 outdoor v3 was not detected/disconnected and i cant adopt it.

1. I tr waied to turn off everything and still not working

2. I tried to disconnect the eap110 cable and plugged it again and still disconnected

What i did next was do a factory reset on the eap110 and still not working. I assumed its the controller, so i did a factory reset on the controller and the eap still not detected/disconnected. I removed the eap110 in the device list and i cannot add it anymore.

What i did next is to downgrade the omada controller from the latest firmware to 5.7 via recovery mode using IP address 192.168.0.253

I proceed with the steps. I skipped the 3rd and 4th step which is the wlan overried and ssid setup.

I finished the downgrade and the eap110 still not detected. So what i did was connect to eap110 ssid and go 192.168.0.254 and setup the eap110

And disconnect the eap110 wifi and use the ethernet to connect to the omada via 192.168.0.253 to checked the device list and its still not detected.

Theres also another problem, i cannot bind my tplink account to cloud access since im using ethernet cable and has no internet. How am i supposed to bind the cloud access if theres no internet connection when using 192.168.0.253?

Please help

Hi  @wickedcool13

Thanks for posting here.

EAP110-outdoor V3 can be managed by OC200, even with the latest firmware.

Please first refer to the following guide to troubleshoot the EAP not displaying on the controller's page:

What should I do when the Omada Software Controller (V4) fails to discover the devices?

If the situation is still the same, please let us know the exact steps you tried, and the detailed topology of your network.

Theres also another problem, i cannot bind my tplink account to cloud access since im using ethernet cable and has no internet. How am i supposed to bind the cloud access if theres no internet connection when using 192.168.0.253?

>>>We need Internet access to enable cloud access. If the EAP doesn't have Internet access, you may check the plugged ethernet cable first.
