How to Configure TL-ER7206 IPv6 on multiple VLANs with IPv6-PD Length =56 via OC200 controller?
How can configure Omada router TL-ER7206 ipv6 on multiple vlans with ipv6-pd length 56. Currently I can enable ipv6 only on one vlan. My ISP is Rogers Cable in Canada that provides ipv6 prefix delegation length size of 56. In theroy, I can configure up to 256 ipv6 on vlans.
Thank you!

@mma678 You need to enable pre-fix delegation
Then in the VLAN under iPv6 get iPv6 pre-fix from pre-fix delegation.
To configure iPv6 go to the internet settibgs - the wan interface you want to configure iPv6 for and here enable pre-fix delegation.
Not sure how it is in Canada in Germany with the Deutsche Telekom you can use same PPPoE session than on iPv4 otherwise you need to reenter the same login information as for iPv4 or different ones for iPv6.
I know the description is a bit worse but I don't have time right now to look it up on pc so I tried my best.. ^^

Here is my configuration.
Enable IPv6 under Network Config/Network Settings/Internet.
Connection Type: Dynamic IP (SLAAC/DHCPv6)
Get IPv6 Address: Automatic
Prefix Delegation: Enable
Prefix Delegation Size: 56
DNS Address: Get from ISP Dynamically
Under Network Config/Network Settings/LAN/Configure IPv6
IPv6 Interface Type: SLAAC+Stateless DHCP
Prefix: Get from Prefix Delegation
IPv6 Prefix Delegation Interface: WAN
IPv6 Prefix ID: 0 (0-0) - this is the most confusing part. I would expect multiple Prefix ID to pick up; however, there is no option than 0 under other vlan IPv6 Prefix ID.
Address Prefix: xxxx:xxxx:xxxx:xxxx::/64
I am wondering if Omada routers can obtain multiple Prefix IDs when ISP Prefix Delegation Size is larger than 64.
Thank you!

Interesting, because in Germany we get a /48 iPv6 there I can obtain multiple prefix and set multiple prefix IDs
But thinking of it
128bit
16bit-16bit-16bit-16bit-16bit-16bit-16bit-16bit
48bit is
XXXX:XXXX:XXXX/48
64bit is
XXXX:XXXX:XXXX:XXXX/64
The last 64bit are by design for the device "interface identifier"
56bit would be
XXXX:XXXX:XXXX:XX/56
I know you can say
XXXX:XXXX:XXXX:XX-YY YY=8bit -->256 subnets
Speaking of I tried it out at myself, 10 minutes after I reconfigured the iPv6 prefix delegation to /56 I'm able to do prefix delegation with an ID from 0-255
So maybe just a wait a little bit..

I can see Delegated Prefix (IPv6) of xxxx:xxxx:xxxx:xx::/56 in my ISP's modem; however, I am uncertain if Omada router TL-ER7206 can actually obtain the correct PD size from my ISP. Is the issue from my router or ISP? I read from different source that Rogers Cable may provide PD size 64 to residential IPv6 connections.
Thank you!! @Julian2111

It looks like my ISP only provides one delegated prefix ID to residential customers unfortunately.

@mma678 Interesting, good to know thanks!
If we continue like this we need NATv6 xD
