I have a TP-Link Deco XE5300 (not recognized in the product model field for this post).

My internet service recently went dark. I disconnected the WAN cable and was trying to continue to use my network locally, but none of the devices plugged into the Ethernet ports were recognized any longer. I even tried plugging my laptop directly into one of the ports (rather than a switch) and it was disconnected, even after rebooting the Deco stations. How do I get the wired LAN devices to be recognized again? I need connectivity between my wired devices and I need DHCP to give IP addresses.

Hi, can I have the current firmware version of the Deco XE5300?

If it is 1.3.1 Build 20251023 Rel. 43624, it is recommended to install the 1.4.999 beta here, which allows fixing the WAN port:

Firmware 1.4.0 for Deco XE75/XE5300/XE75 Pro_V2/V3 Added Wi-Fi Access Control, WireGuard VPN & More

Wait for your reply.

Best regards.

Hi, can you send an email to support.forum@tp-link.com?

(Please add forum ID 859056 in the subject.)

There hasn't been a beta firmware for Deco XE5300_V1. I'll need to check with the senior engineer for further assistance.

Thank you very much.

Best regards.
