Model: Deco XE70 Pro
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version: 1.3.1 Build 20251023 Rel. 47884

I posted previous in a separate thread called "2.4 GHz network VERY unstable with Deco XE70s" (now locked) that my XE70 Pro mesh system was having severe problems regarding frequent service dropouts.  In particular, my 2.4 network would completely drop on a given mesh node for a period of time and then come back.  This resulted in major connectivity havoc for my 2.4 GHz based devices, mainly my Wyze cameras.

As a result of that thread, a beta load (https://tpbeta.com/s/E7KSWtSDoKNMBrR) was provided that forced each node to select a different channel.  This helped the stability of my network quite a bit, but did not entirely solve the problem.

However, after upgrading to the latest GA release (1.3.1 Build 20251023 Rel. 47884), the problem has sadly returned and my system is now unstable again.  My nodes are all selecting the same channel. It was my hope that the "fix" put into the beta load would make it into the new GA load as i, but that does not appear to be the case.

Am I missing something with the new load?  Is there a way to configure the channel used per mesh node??

VERY VERY tempted to move on from TP-Link...

Hi, nice to see you again.

It is recommended to test the latest 1.4.999 firmware here, which has also added the 2.4GHz Backhaul optimization on the old beta firmware:

Firmware 1.4.0 for Deco XE75/XE5300/XE75 Pro_V2/V3 Added Wi-Fi Access Control, WireGuard VPN & More

Thank you very much.

Best regards.
