Is it normal for the home screen to show "connecting" at the bottom of the screen continuously? The manual implies that it should be the carrier name or I'd have thought "connected. It seems to be working fine but it doesn't seem right and may be chewing the battery faster than necessary.

Hi,
It is abnormal for the M7750's home screen to display "Connecting" at the bottom; however, this display issue usually does not cause the device to drain its battery faster than necessary. You may try restarting the M7750 to see if that helps.

 

If the same phenomenon persists, please provide more details for analysis.
