Yes, this is supported from Omada V6.2, including ER7412-M2.

But the firmware for ER7412-M2 has not been released yet. Please wait for the firmware update, it won't be long. Thanks.

You can get the logs via an external log server. Below is the config page:

Global View > Logs > Settings > Advanced

  @Vincent-TP thanks for getting back to me.

 

I am aware of the standard syslog output to which you refer and am already uisng this, however it does not log ACL activity.

 

I was specifcailly refering to ACL logging, I am aware that some gatweays support this, in so far as there is an option on the Gateway ACL page to enable logging for paritcular rules. It is mentioned in the hlep center but does not seem to be implimented -

 

 

The question was will the ER7412-M2 support this option in the future?

One more thing, that option is not supposed to display on the ER7214-M2. Did you see the option on your controller interface?

Does the site adopt an ER7214-M2? What kind of controller are you using? And what's the controller's firmware?

  @Vincent-TP This is on the help center page for Gatweay ACL under the Paremeters sub heading, a bit confusing since the option is not available - Glad to hear it is coming, appreciate the update.

 

I am using software controller version 6.2.10.17, local only no cloud.

 

ER7412-M2 is fully adopted.
