TX Frames - High, likely a problem?
As shown on the screenshot below, is this really a problem? It's been like this for a couple of hours now.

If you are still seeing issues here, I'd recommend taking a closer look at your coverage area and the distance to your clients like @R1D2 is saying. You are right when you say that you can't ask the clients to just move closer, but you can probably bring the WiFi closer to them. I don't know how big your area is, but it might make sense to add another access point. You are already running a controller, so it would be really easy to do. You would want to make sure the 2.4GHz band is set up with 20MHz channels on non-overlapping channels (1,6,11). You would probably just need to balance out the access points so that they are each covering about half the area.
APs aren't expensive, and I think if your clients are paying, you might want to get another AP to make sure they have a good experiance.
Good luck!

@hashrack, again: take a look at the SNR of clients which are at the edge of the covered area. They can cause massive re-trasmissions.
Next, change the WiFi channel (and channel bandwidth if it is not at 20 MHz already). Does changing the channel affect the utilization?
BTW: a new firmware for OC200 (V1.2.1, Controller V3.2.5) was just released. One of the enhancements is:
3. Optimize the UI of Channel Utilization.
Sir, can you give me the exact version info for new features/fixed bug notes and also the direct download link for the latest windows version of omada controller (V3.2.5) for eap225-outdoor? it seems that is still not yet posted on the eap225-outdoor support page.

Thanks!

Please note that the new controller software is a release for the OC200 controller, and not for the Linux/Windows software. I doesn't look like TP-Link released version 2.3.5 of the standalone Omada software yet. Do you actaully have an OC200 controller?
Also, @R1D2 is it an issue to use the EU firmware on a US OC200? They do have a new release on the US OC200 page as well.
Edit: Sorry hashrack, this was meant for Fugazi...

Yeah thanks for that, just knew right after I've downloaded the given link it was actually a .bin file so it is only for oc200, btw I'm only using omada controller on a windows pc. I guess I have to wait for the official release for windows version.

Hi @Questionmark,
Omada Controller is UN (universal) software. Yes, it's the OC200 version, AFAIK the software controller V2.3.5 has not been released so far.

Hi @TheKaban,
happy new year, too. The Auranet CAP series has basic/supported rate settings, so I'm not sure whether we will see this in Omada EAP series.

@ R1D2, what do you think about this feature?
I hope that this feature will appear in the omada series!)
Maybe the guys from TP-LINK will be able to comment on this for us.
Thank You!)

you asked for my opinion: if a customer (of my company!) needs such features offered by Auranet CAPs only, I would recommend him to buy CAPs, else I would recommend Omada EAPs. We offer installation services for both types of APs.
I think that TP-Link divisions won't compete with themself – the more expensive Auranet CAPs always have offered more features than EAPs, which once have been forked off from the Auranet series to form the new, cheaper Omada series. Seems to me like product policy. But that's just my opinion.
