EAP245 Mesh - Can I attach an ethernet device to the second ethernet port on a meshed AP?
I am about to pull the trigger on ordering a couple of EAP245's. As I don't have Ethernet everywhere in my house I was hoping to Mesh these devices.
My question is though, am I able to connect an Ethernet device to a Meshed AP?
I currently have Google WiFi at the moment and can do just this - I have a WiFi point that is connected via Ethernet cable, and then on the meshed point, I have my PC plugged into the meshed AP via Ethernet because I don't have an Ethernet port where my second (meshed) AP is.
Can I do the same thing with the EAP245 given that it has 2 Ethernet ports? Can the Meshed AP supply Ethernet connectivity to another device?
