Model: AP200
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 2.20

Hello,
We are a high school and have just acquired 5 new EAP245 (V3) terminals.
We previously already had 3 terminals (EAP330 (v1) and EAP245 (V1).
We were using OMADA Software Controller version 3.2.14 and it worked fine.
We wanted to switch to OMADA Software Controller in version 4.3.5 knowing full well that the AP330s were not supported, but although we have "Forgot" the new terminals of the old controller, they do not appear. not in the new OMADA Software Controler 4.3.5 and this with a Firmware of either 2.20 or 5.0.2!
We also tried to "reset" them, but nothing helped!
In summary, we are unable to manage these new EAP245 (v3) terminals on the new OMADA Software Controller 4.3.5!
Do you have a research lead?
Best regards,
Thank you.

@Numa88

Hey

This is quite a common issue on the forums and its always affecting the software controller.   My advice would be to check your Firewall Setting on the host machine, this is quite common for exceptions to be needed, even after an upgrade.   If the ports are not open or accessible it will fail to see or adopt devices, had this a few times.

More details on the ports below, I would check these first

@Numa88

Do not run two Controller under the same LAN at the same time.

FYI, here is another FAQ for troubleshoot.

What should I do when the Omada Software Controller (V4) fails to discover the devices?

Just striving to develop myself while helping others.
