Hy Team!

So I ask: Can I use EAP235(or a different wall ap) with any power supply for example TL-POE2412G? I would like to use it with mesh, also I have 25x TL-POE2412G.

Regards, Daniel.

  @Daniel-nio

You can use any standard 48V POE adapter/injector if the 235-wall is standalone, but if you want to piggyback another POE device from it's Port3, then you need a POE+ adapter/injector.  802.3af or 802.3at respectively are the important specs.... brand is not.  If you are trying to use passive POE, like a 24V injector you need to confirm that your specific AP supports that.... for instance the 225-outdoor supports both passive 24V and POE (48V).

Sadly, none of TPlink's wall units support meshing at this time.  I believe there is a least one feature request for that in the Suggestions forum.... feel free to find it and like it.

Hi  @Daniel-nio

EAP235-Wall only supports standard PoE and it can not work with TL-POE2412G.

TL-POE2412G is a 24V passive PoE injector.

To power on the EAP235-Wall my suggestion is a PoE switch like TL-SG2008P.

Currently EAP235-Wall does not support Mesh and we do not have plan on it.
