Model: EAP110
Hardware Version: V4
Firmware Version:

Hi,

I've created a new site on my omada OC200 and manage to adopt on the remote site two EAP110, but when I try to upgrade the firmware it fails with the error "Failed to send files to device"

The OC200 sits behind ER605 and I enabled port forwarding on ports UDP29810 and TCP29813-29814

The controller is running 5.1.7 and firmware upgrades on the local site omada devices work fine, just not working on the two remote site EAP110.

Any ideas what the issue could be ?

Thanks

I found the issue, port 443 is also needed for the firmware upgrade.

Hey

I had this issue once before on a site, every AP was doing the same, they where also EAP110s.

Found a complete reboot of the APs and controller, then try the update fixed it for me.   Not ideal I know, may have just been lucky and haven't seen it since

Umm

Strange one, honestly cant think what it could be.

As said I only had this once ever, have you tried the upgrade locally on the controller (not via cloud).   Something like VPN into a station that way?
