I'm not using Cloud Based Controller but I do find a compatible list for CBC:

It seems like TL-SG2008 V3 is not supported by CBC.

But anyway I think you can still use Software controller to manage your switch.

Thanks @Somnus   I do see now that the version I have of the TL-SG2008 is only compatible with a software based controller, not cloud.   That's unfortunate.   Was hoping to test out a cloud instance to see if it fits my needs at home.  Guess I'll just put the controller on a docker container and go from there!
