DHCP Offering wrong IP adresses
DHCP Offering wrong IP adresses
Hi there,
i just bought a ER605 router for linking the office wifi with the corporate LAN.
I have 2 Omada EAP 225 senders connected to an unmanaged swich conntectet to a LAN port of the router.
The access points offer both 2 SSID's.
SSID 1: Wifi_Hybrid with VLAN 10 connected through switch to the router.
SSID 2: Wifi_Guests with VLAN 20 connected through switch to the router.
On the LAN-Port i configured 2 LAN's with each of the both VLAN.
LAN 1: LAN_Hybrid (192.168.201.1/24) with VLAN 10 offering IP adresses with DHCP from 192.168.201.40* to 192.168.201.254.
LAN 2: LAN_Guests (192.168.202.1/24) with VLAN 20 offering IP adresses with DHCP from 192.168.202.1 to 192.168.202.254.
* IP 192.168.201.2 to 192.168.201.39 reserved for the EAP access points.
If i now connect my notebook to the Guest-Wifi i get a ip adress and can communicate to the internet. If i connect to the Hybrid-network my notebook only sends DHCP Discoveries but is getting no DHCP offers from the LAN. Sometimes i get offers for ip adresses out of the 192.168.0.1/24 network, but why!?!

Even if i plug the access points directly into the router the DHCP will not work. So its not the fault of the switch.
Edit: I now upgraded the software controller from 4.3.5 to 5.8.4. But still no IP Offer from the DHCP.
