Hi,

I've recently uptaded a ER605 V2.0 FW (as suggested by Omada controller) to 2.2.0.

After that ER605 results DISCONNECTED, but still provide connectivity (don't know if it works as DHCP server, because is not mine, and I don't want to ask my client to try). I've asked my client to power cycle ER605 and it resulted CONNECTED for a while, than again DISCONNECTED.

I use a OC200 1.24.0 Build 20230328 Rel.52384 Controller Version 5.9.32

Is there any fix?

Thanks in advance

  @laboratorio101

This is happening to me too since the 2.2.0 Upgrade.

Power cycle solves for couple of hours but then it gets disconnected again.

Funny is that the nertwork and internet access still works, so it got to be a firmware bug comunicating with the omada controller.

Try to downgrade to previous firmware and see if it fixes it.

  @laboratorio101

There are a couple of threads about this in Business Routers forum with multiple people reporting it (me included),  would suggest going there and adding your details to the thread

  @laboratorio101

downgrade would definitely fix this problem. you can probably try this until a fix has been release.

  @ManuN7

upgraded 2 ER605 to 2.1.4, no problems, but I had no problem with 2.2.0 either,
both upgraded ones have a remote controller so it is not a local controller
controller version 5.9 linux and 5.12 windows

  @MR.S

Thanks for your feedback. Much apreciated.

I ended upgrading to this beta firmware and the problems are now corrected. Haven't had any issue since the update, good job TP Link.

I too use a software controler on Linux with docker on version 5.9.31.
