Since I tried this on a test computer at that time, I bypassed this prompt. I think that might fix the issue you have.

If, like you said, it requires the local admin authorization, then we cannot bypass the Windows since we need to modify the settings.

I don't think that we can make a difference and this falls back to the root cause that modifying networking settings requires admin authorization.

You should try it at least.

Update:

Forgot to say, it was asking for the password of the admin before I made a change to this. After this, it never asks and launches it instantly.

Same issue as Niels. Your software is impossible to use with our company. Users can't have admin rights and this software needs admin rights to be run. We don't speak about installation. I don't understand your answer to Niels. As admin we can't spend our time to bypass UAC using tricks to run software. As example no one modify the registry to run word or excel after installation. If some parameters modifications needs admin rights so the UAC windows must pop at this moment not at the launching.

Maybe a correction in the next version will be really useful for anyone.

You have been explained the reason why and offered a temp workaround here but you rejected my suggestion. So, you can read the following paragraph and wait for it. Or you can use the dedicated software to connect such as WireGuard, and OpenVPN.

And note, that if there is no resolution from the dev to bypass it, there will not be an update to fix it. I am informing you that this enters the evaluation phase. It is not a guarantee from me.
