Model: EAP615-Wall
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.1.6 & 1.2.0

So. I installed the beta firmware - 1.2.0 and was trialing the Lock to AP feature. Unfortunately, I selected the Nest Protect in my son's room in error and it now it cannot get back on the network.

What I believe is happening is that even though I have rolled back the firmware on the AP, it is somehow remembering and will not connect to any other AP. Is there a way to remove the Lock to AP setting from a client even though it cannot access the network at this stage?

I have tried:

Removing and re-adopting the AP

Resetting the Nest

Removing the password from the 2.4g network

Rolling back the firmware to 1.1.6.

Have you tried to delete client?

go to Known Clients and delete it, i guess your client connect then.
