ER605 v2 disconnects after adoption by router
Dear users & TP Link,
I'm stuck on a nasty error trying to get my Omada system working at home.
My setup is as follows:
ISP Router is the gateway to the WWW
OC200 Hardware Controller is connected to the ISP Router on 192.168.0.219 and accesible through the cloud.
I have now run (& re-run with factory reset) the following sequence, but my ER605 router fails to show up on the controller:
- Factory Reset ER605 v2 router
- Login to the router through 192.168.0.1
- Quick Setup the router to connect to the web:
During this steps the device complains that it can't use 192.168.0.1 (already taken by ISP router), so I use 192.168.4.1 as the LAN IP, and DHCP range 192.168.1.1-255
The Router connects to the web and shows up on my ISP Router at address 192.168.0.130
I then "inform" the OC200 controller about the ER605 router - through the admin page of the router.
This works, and the router shows up for adoption in the OC200.
Now things get tricky:
Adoption runs - gets stuck a long time on Configuring - and then suddenly shows as Disconnect.
It does not come back, although the router is still connected to my ISP Router.
Any ideas or guidance on how to solve this?
I've done factory resets on both the controller and the router, but the problem persists
KR,
Thomas
