Model: EAP650-Wall
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.1.5

Hi support,

I have 1x EAP650-WALL and 4x EAP650 together with ER7212PC. All the APs are connected to the 3-in-1 router via CAT6 cable.

All has been adopted into the network accordingly as reflected below:

However, when I clicked on the "Mesh" tab, only 4x EAP650 shown:

And I checked one of the EAP650 and indeed, it does have "mesh" tab as shown:

However, when I check the EAP650-WALL, it doesn't have any "Mesh" tab as shown:

I have checked that "Mesh" has been enabled @ site settings

Any settings I can do to correct/include the EAP650-WALL into the mesh network?

Thanks

  @BengGaBoy

As far as I know, the latest EAP650-wall firmware is not currently mesh capable.  There might be hope though, as the EAP615-wall has some beta code out that does now support meshing.

Thanks for reply and information.

Wow! Really felt gutted and bad aftertaste knowing an AP @ 2024 doesn't support mesh.

I relooked into the website and yes, they did NOT mentioned WALL support mesh but it's really unexpected. But it did indicate "seamless roaming" supported by Omada SDN controllers.

Well, guess there's nothing much I can do about it but just suck thumb and hope that Tplink eventually release a FW to support mesh.
