Model: ER8411
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.2.9

Hi all,

I'm attempting to configure the static IP address for SFP+ WAN for the Router ER8411. However, every time I enter the IP address, I get an error message saying, "The entered IP address is a broadcast address or a network address."
Have you ever encountered this issue, or could you guide me on how to configure it? I
s it works with a /31 IP address configuration.

Thank you,

Hi @HungHuynh_VN81

Thanks for posting in our business forum.

So, take this as an example.

10.0.0.1 is the broadcast IP, reserved. 10.0.0.0 is the network address. There is no usable IP left for hosts. 2/2.
