OpenVPN Client public IP
During the OpenVPN client negotiation to connect to the ER605, is there a way to capture what the public IP of the client is? I need to know where the client is connected from. Nothing shows on the Tunnel list nor on the System Log. (ER605 Stand-alone).

Hi @firefox111
Thanks for posting in our business forum.
Wireshark and mirror the WAN, filter the OpenVPN, and find out the client IP.
For the log, this request has been brought up before on the Request page.
We do not support or provide any help on the third-party platform. Any of the HA plug-ins you see on the HA are not part of the TP-Link official releases. We have never released any plug-ins nor will we in the future as our system is closed-source.

Logs for OpenVPN client are very limited at the moment. I haven't seen anywhere any more detailed info. Not even in controller mode.
As far as I know, more advanced logs of VPN connections are going to be implemented in the future but not sure when.
In short: No, I don't believe so that there is any I fo of client's IP.

I have home assistant. Do these routers integrate with Home Assistant so that Home Assistant can leverage more meaningful logging subsystem? (Only if it integrates and have entities to identify VPN connections)
