Model: ES205GP
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version:

Hello,

i use an OC200 (Omada v6.0.0.36) and have now integrated an ES205GP (Firmware v1_1.0.3 Build 20250609).
That i can integrate Switches from the Agile Series, i must activate this in the Site-List Settings.

So far, everything is fine and works without problems smiley

But I'm wondering, why is it designed this way?

Surely there's a reason why Agile series switches need to be activated separately.
Are there any disadvantages to using a Switch from the Agile series?
Or, or, or....

Does anyone have any information about this for me?
Thanks smiley

@lukass2000 Because the features of Agile is very different with other Omada managed switches, because of low cost chipset. The Omada controller config webUI of Agile is also very different. yes it has to be activated on the site, why? i don't know.
agile is a much simpler switch, but most of the complaints here on the forum are that the ip on the clients is not shown in the console, if you use the switch to power the access point wifi clients will show the ip, but not wired clients
