Hey guys,

I've been using a linux host with latest omada controller all working well.

I just added a backup node and each node is replicating and showing correctly 2 nodes and working fine.

I can access my cluster from https://aps1-omada-cloud.tplinkcloud.com but when i clcik on the cluster it says

Cloud Access Disconnected

When i click on it and go to cloudAccess page, it shows

Cloud Access Status Disconnected, even though the radio toggle is on.

I'm concerned that new devices provisioned by device key may not work if it thinks our controller is offline.

What should i do, should i unbind tp link and reconnect?

just a reminder its showing in tp link portal as online, the second node shows offline thats because it became apart of the cluster

Looking at the logs more, it appears that my primary is connected to the cloud and secondary is not, probably because they share the same OmadacId being in HA. I think the controller software may just need a tweak to not report offline if the Primary is online?

Hi  @icepicknz

Thanks for posting here.

Generally, the Primary Node is responsible for network management and process running. The Secondary Node synchronizes data with the Primary Node. When the Primary node goes down, the Secondary Node will take over network and clients management.

In other words, when the primary node is operational, the backup node does not manage any SDN devices.

Please go to this interface on the primary node to check if the backup node’s status is normal.

Yes both nodes are fine, and logs show the primary is registered to Omada cloud, but the actual display in the WebGUI shows wrong on dashboard and when clicking the "DISCONNECTED".
