@Mark.B You set the DNS for the LAN subnet you are using for the SSID, not the in the SSID definition. So, in the controller, Wired networks-》LAN Will post a screen grab.

@Mark.B Yes! Set a custom DNS ip on the subnet definition used by the SSID.

@b4tm4n I don't suppose it is impossible, but it won't be easy or cheap, and I have no idea where you would get the required parts. Recommend you purchase a new unit and move on.
