@Morayf If you can stand up a captive portal on a server, then you can stand up a software controller too. No need to pay for hardware or cloud controllers, the software versions are free to use.

@akp55 Where did you get the AP from? That said I have seen TPlink gear ship with firmware versions not available anywhere else, so that may be confusing the controller.

@nicolati For sure, ask all of us who have ER605v1's. I would just return the v3, but was this direct from Amazon or via one of its sellers. I'd be surprised if Amazon's own stock pool still had old...
