AX6000 if my WAN is 2.5 Gbps, will my internet speeds be the same?

I am a little confused. I have 2.5 Gbs ineter service enabled ( Ziply) . If I directly hardline from my ONT into my desktop, I get roughly 1.8 - 2.0 GBps. Which is great. However when I hardline into

BE800 Fast Upload, slow download FTTH Connected directly to Nokia ONT

UPDATE: I think I may have solved the problem. There was a setting in the BE800 called "Internet Port Negotiation Speed Setting". I changed it from Auto Negotiation to 2500Mbps Full Duplex and voila!
