I bought this router to replace a Plusnet Hub One router in an attempt to squeeze every last drop of speed out of my Fibre connection.
To my horror the VR2800 ethernet performance is on average some 10Mbps slower that the cheap old Hub One.
Am I doing something wrong or have i bought a lemon?

Your connection is ADSL or VDAL? Suggest to also check the downstream and upstream on the tp-link web interface

@dannyobrian I know this is a very old post but I have just put myself in exactly the same position. Did you reach any conclusions or remedies about this issue?

Good day.
Thank you very much for your time and patience.
Could you please help me check the following information:
- Where are you located and who is your internet service provider?
- Can I also have a picture of the DSL status page of your modem?
- How many bandwidth you are supposed to get from service provider?
By the way, how long have you had the device and when did the issue start?
Thanks a lot.
Nice to Meet You in Our TP-Link Community.

@Sunshine Hello.
I'm based in Leeds, UK. My ISP provider is Plusnet. I am supposed to get between 60 and 72 Mbps but at the moment am getting between 50 and 58. Previously it was generally up around 70. I have had the device just over a week and the issue has been there since I installed this device.
Thanks for your help.
