Hi,

I have a TL-WR886N wireless router with Chinese firmware but since I don't know Chinese I would like to install English firmware. I looked for it here http://www.tp-link.com/en/support.html but couldn't find it so where can I get it?

It would also be great with some instruction of how to install it. I can log in to the router but I don't understand any of the Chinese I see there.

where did you purchase the router ? There no English Firmware for this router

My girl friend is Chinese and she bought it in China.

We want to use this router as a repeter now but I cannot set it up as a router when I don't understand any Chinese and it's to technical for her so she cannot translate it for me.

Chines version can't upgrade to English version, because they use different chipset.
You can contact Chinese support on the package for help. They may understand English.
