First post to the forum, as there seems to be huge delays in the tech Help line, however this is probably something that others may also be interested in.

I have spent days trying to find out what modem/routers are compatible with NBN HFC service.
Thats the Australian "National Broadband Network" using the latest "Hybrid Fibre" connection.
NBN Co can not provide any details.
My wholesale supplier can not provide any details.
So the last idea was to contact TP-Link directly.

I current have 2 TP-Link modems TD-W8968 v3 and Archer D5 v2.
Can these be setup on a NBN HFC service, and if so what setting are required.

Regards
Adrian

Confirm with ISP whether VLAN tag is required on the router. If yes, you should be able to use D5

Yes, VLAN is to be set to 100.
However it doesn't allow me to see or change that setting.
It just tells me that when changed to a router, it is automatically set with VLAN.
I've decided to go with a TP-Link WR945N or ARCHER C60 Router instead and see if that works.
