I have an Archer D7: Firmware Version:1.6.0 0.9.1 v002d.0 Build 160216 Rel.57110nHardware Version:Archer D7 v1 00000001

Sometimes the 5Ghz disable itself for no reason..., the 2.4GHz remains activated.
I can go through the web UI and enable it back.

Please help :)

seems hardware issue? maybe faulty soldering on 5G chips. Go to shop for a replacement.

I heard an unofficial firmware can fix it ?
Did someone hear of it ?

Is it right? Do you know the firmware number of it? TPLINK always name their firmware use the date of it been made. Like 170511 for the d7 new firmware

Seems the septhzor did get a beta. You should email the support for the beta. As i know, TP Link will not place firmware at the fourm.

By the way, TP link has three beta firmware version for EU/US/AU. You should ask them for the EU version if they has . Others are against to the CE as it opens the illegal wireless channel in EU.
