Tp-Link Archer VR900 (EU) v2.0 Keeps Needing A Restart Cause Slows To A Crawl After A Few Hours

I bought a new modem in hopes of QoS, didn't even come with it.. now I am stuck with the problem of it's not even running like a top notch modem cause it needs to be restarted after just a few hours as it gets slower and slower till it's so slow it will report errors on sites.. Is there anything to do except tossing it away?
