Dear all,

having bought the TP-Link Archer VR200v for a German Telekom VDSL connection, I am experiencing recurring for not to say periodic connectivity issues. When using IPTV and surfing, the connection resets every 5 minutes. Googling around, I activated the bandwidth control and set it to 30.000/5.000kbps, which reduced the connection resets to every 20 minutes.

Needless to say, that this is still not usable for watching a movie. In the Telekom forum, people were suggesting to exchange the router with a Telekom Speedport W724V, which actually resolved the issue. However, I just borrowed the Telekom device and I wondered if anyone here in the forum can suggest how to proceed?

The pattern in the router log for the connection resets look like this:

[SIZE=2]I assume the DSL synchronization gets lost, but how to deal with this issue? Is there a newer firmware available? I am using the v1 HW version with the latest firmware from August 2016.

Thank you for your kind advice and best regards,

Sebastian
