Media Streaming from VR900 to PS4

I have a USB HDD connected to my TP-LINK Archer VR900
I can stream music and movies from this to various devices in the house via DLNA / SMB.
However the PS4 Media Player app will only recognise and play music, it cant seem to find a single one of the movie files.
Has anyone managed to get PS4 to stream video?
