Hi All,
I need support about how to configure step by step my EAP225, like your previous products, example:

I want to configure my EAP225 to can increase my wifi network associating it by a Survey option, but really I can't find it in the menu of this AP neither throw EAP Controller menu. I have updated the firmware to the last one but still can't find the menu.

I appreciate if you can detail me all the steps to configure it like a regular AP, doing a Survey with my router to can use it without too many features (like portal, etc.).

Thanks a lot

Regards

You can't extend a WiFi network wirelessly with an EAP225. It's an AP only, not a repeater. You have to connect the EAP225 by wire with your network (router/switch) to add another WiFi cell to your network.

Regarding the EAP controller: you don't need it at all to just manage one EAP if you don't want to use portal features. It's much easier to use its built-in web UI in stand-alone mode. To do so, set the EAP back to its factory defaults, connect it directly to your PC (not to your network), set your PC to an unused IP in the 192.168.0.0/24 range and use a browser to load the web UI of the EAP225 ( http://192.168.0.254). See the EAP225 User's Guide for further steps how to configure it.
